Terms of Service

1. What this service is

Kingman Pool Pros is an independent local resource, not a pool company. We publish cost, diagnostic, and code research for Kingman-area pool owners and pass requests to independent pool companies who do the actual work -- a cleaning specialist for routine service, or a licensed provider for repair and equipment jobs.

We do not perform, supervise, or warrant any pool cleaning, repair, or other trade work. Any service agreement you enter is between you and the independent company directly -- we are not a party to it, and we receive no authority over its pricing, scheduling, workmanship, or conduct. Some of the independent companies we pass requests to pay us for that referral; this never changes what you pay them.

2. Eligibility (18+)

You must be at least 18 years old to submit a request through this site or to participate in the SMS program described below. By submitting a request you represent that you are 18 or older.

3. SMS / text-message program

Program description. If you check the SMS consent box on our request form, you agree to receive recurring conversational text messages from Kingman Pool Pros and the independent pool company matched to your request, about your pool service request -- for example appointment confirmations, scheduling, quote follow-ups, and service updates. Message frequency may vary depending on your request.

Opting out. Reply STOP to any message to cancel texts from that sender at any time; you'll receive a single confirmation message. Reply HELP for help, or reach us through the contact page. Opting out of texts does not cancel your service request -- you can still be reached by the phone or email you provided.

Rates. Message and data rates may apply, per your mobile carrier's plan.

Carrier disclaimer. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to network availability.

Consent is optional. SMS consent is never a condition of submitting a request, being matched with a company, or purchasing any service.

How SMS opt-in data is used and protected -- including our commitment that it is never sold or shared for marketing -- is described in the Privacy Policy.

4. Independent providers; no warranty of their work

The companies we pass requests to are independent businesses. Where this site describes licensing, it describes Arizona's rules generally -- for example, that pump, filter, heater, and other equipment work requires an Arizona Registrar of Contractors licence while routine cleaning alone does not. For repair and equipment requests, we pass your request to a company that reports holding an active licence in the relevant class, but you are responsible for verifying any contractor's licence, bond, and insurance before hiring -- the state's own lookup takes two minutes, and we show you how. We make no warranty, express or implied, about any provider's work, and any dispute about performed work is between you and that provider.

5. Content is research, not quotes or professional advice

Cost figures, code summaries, and how-to content on this site are published research -- dated, sourced, and labeled for how local each source is -- not quotes, engineering advice, or legal advice. Pool equipment involves electricity, gas, pressurized plumbing, and chemicals; content here explains what you can reasonably check yourself and where the safe stopping point is, and you assume responsibility for anything you choose to do to your own equipment. Statute and ordinance summaries (for example the Arizona pool barrier law) are not legal advice -- confirm requirements with the issuing authority before building or modifying anything.

6. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the site: no false or harassing requests, no scraping or republishing site content at scale, no interfering with the site's operation, and no use of the request form to send anything unrelated to pool service in our service area.

7. Intellectual property

The content of this site (text, research compilations, graphics, and code) belongs to AuthenitcBrand, LLC or its licensors. You may link to and quote pages with attribution; you may not republish whole pages.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, availability, and fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, AuthenitcBrand, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the site or from any interaction with an independent provider, and our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of the site or these terms is limited to one hundred dollars ($100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify AuthenitcBrand, LLC against claims arising from your misuse of the site or violation of these terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of- law rules. Venue for any dispute lies in the state or federal courts of Arizona.

11. Changes

We may update these terms; the current version always lives at this URL with its effective date. Continued use of the site after a change is acceptance of the new terms.
