Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you submit our request form, we collect the information you enter: your name, phone number, email address (optional), property location, the type of service you need, and anything you write in the notes field. If you check the SMS consent box, we also record that choice, the exact consent language you agreed to, and a timestamp.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we receive standard technical information when you visit: pages viewed, approximate (city-level) location derived from your IP address, device and browser type, and the site that referred you. See the cookies section below.

Phone calls. If you call a phone number published on this site, the call may be recorded and transcribed for quality and record-keeping purposes; where recording is active, you will hear a disclosure at the start of the call. Call metadata (your number, call time and duration) is logged.

2. How we use information

• To pass your service request to an independent local pool company matched to the type of work you asked for -- this is the core function of the site.
• To contact you about your request (confirmation, clarification, follow-up), by the methods you provided and, for SMS, only per the consent terms below.
• To keep records of consent and communications.
• To measure and improve the site (aggregate analytics).
• To comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service.

3. SMS / text-message opt-in data

If you check the SMS consent box on our form, you opt in to receive text messages from Kingman Pool Pros and the independent pool company matched to your request, about your request (for example appointment- and quote-related messages). Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Consent is never a condition of submitting a request or receiving service.

No sharing of SMS opt-in data. Your phone number and your SMS opt-in consent are used only to fulfill your request. They are shared only with the specific independent pool company needed to fulfill the request you submitted, and with the messaging platform that technically delivers the messages. Your phone number and SMS opt-in data are never sold, and never shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party except as necessary to deliver the messages you consented to.

4. When information is shared

• The matched provider. Your request details (name, contact information, location, and what you asked for) go to the one independent pool company matched to your request, so it can contact you and do the work. That company is an independent business responsible for its own privacy practices.
• Service vendors. We use service providers for website hosting, form and lead management, phone/SMS delivery, and analytics. They process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own marketing.
• Legal. We may disclose information when required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with data brokers.

5. Cookies and analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate usage -- which pages are read, roughly where visitors come from, and which links get used. GA4 sets cookies or similar identifiers for this purpose. We do not run advertising pixels or retargeting cookies. You can limit analytics cookies through your browser settings or Google's opt-out tools; the site works fine with cookies blocked.

6. Data security

This site is served over HTTPS, form submissions are transmitted encrypted, and lead records are stored in access-controlled systems limited to the people who need them to route your request. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we limit what we collect in the first place -- the form asks only for what's needed to route a pool service request.

7. Data retention

Lead records (including consent records) are retained as long as needed to service the request and to meet legal and record-keeping obligations for consent, then deleted or anonymized. Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics' standard retention settings.

8. Your rights and choices

• Access, correction, deletion. You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, via the contact page. We will respond within a reasonable time and honor the request unless we are legally required to keep the record (consent logs, for example).
• SMS opt-out. Reply STOP to any text to stop texts from that sender.
• Call/email opt-out. Tell us or the provider to stop contacting you and that channel stops.
• Analytics opt-out. Block cookies or use Google's browser opt-out.

We honor these choices regardless of your state of residence. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy law.

9. Children

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; the SMS program described above is limited to users 18 and older (see the Terms of Service). If you believe a minor has submitted information here, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date. Material changes to how SMS opt-in data is handled will not be applied retroactively to consent already given.
